Custom accent pillows, shams, and cushions can take a project to the next level. The right combination of textiles and finish details is a powerful tool in the design arsenal, and here at My Atelier we can make anything you can dream up.
We’ve made a gallery of some of our most popular pillow details, let us know what your favorites are when placing your order so we can customize your order to fit your vision.
Knife Edge
Knife edge is as basic as it gets, but that means that every detail has to be perfect. That doesn’t mean that knife edge is boring, a crisp, sharp pillow edge can be embellished with dozens of variations of topstitching and fabric layout.
Corded/Welted
Whatever you call it, a 1/4″ welting is a classic pillow finish. Cording can be made of the face fabric, a contrast fabric, or COM designer passementerie.
Flange
One name, two very different edge finishes. Our standard flange is a bias-cut flange sewn to create a pleat in each corner, it’s a great option for a softer edge. The stitched flange is typically used for shams and other bedding, its corded with decorative topstitching spaced to create a flat flange around the pillow.
Sizes
Sizing your pillows properly is key, the proportions of a pillow grouping can make or break the overall effect. We can make any size and shape of pillows, but these are our most popular sizes
